When you’re in middle school and high school, sussing out how to maintain a balanced diet, let alone figuring out how to get along with your parents or how not to stress about your wardrobe, can be tricky. But commiserating with friends or reading articles in magazines in search of tips always seems to help.
Thankfully for me, the teenage years are long gone. But I have had the genuine pleasure of interviewing young adults from all over the country for the articles I have written for Choices, a national in-classroom health & lifestyle magazine for teens grades, 7-12, published by Scholastic. What I learned from them—and the experts who studied their behavior—could fill volumes.
